
The Apurimac River "The God that talks" is one of the best rivers in the world for White Water River Rafting.
There will be a briefing the night before departure.
At 9:00 AM we head out to the Huallpachaca Bridge at an altitude of 2000 masl, about 5 hours south east of Cusco. After lunch our guide gives us safety instructions followed by a demonstration of the equipment, and they also will give you a basic Rescue Course for this kind of river. We will raft for 1 hours on Class II and III rapids. Then we will set up camp on one of the beautiful beaches of the Apurimac River and rest for the evening.
After a healthy breakfast we pack up the camp, and head off to begin rafting down Class III and IV rapids, stopping only for lunch. We may also walk some dangerous Class VI Rapids (that are impossible to run). Then we will set up the tents and rest.
We continue recontrol until the end of the tour, during which we will have 2 portages, the millstone, and the you first after the same ones work we will run more rapid of class the III, IV +.
Camp 4.30 p.m. approximately. Lunch and games. It has dinner. Meeting with the passengers to converse from what it comes the following day.
I have 7.30 for breakfast a.m. We enter to the
water 8.30 a.m., this one is not a strong day, since we will run rapid of class
III later to come to Cconoc's thermal baths. Final part of this unforgettable
trip.
I have lunch: 12 of the half day. We will enjoy a delicious grill accompanied of salads, refreshments, ice creams. We pack our equipment (team) and make the trip of return to Cusco's city. Approximate time of trip 3 hours.
It is necessary to stress that our guides have taken part in courses (years) of rescue and the first aids, in addition they are experienced of work at the most difficult rivers of the world.
